New Esthetician Licensing – How does it affect CMTs?

Certified Massage Therapists providing facials, wraps, and other skin therapies may need to get an Esthetician license to continue those treatments in their practices. CMTs will have until June 30, 2008 to apply for a license as an esthetician using the grandfather provision. This allows you to get the license without having to comply with the education and training laws governing estheticians. Read the document below written by the Virginia AMTA lobbyist Becky Bowers-Lanier and decide if you need to pursue the esthetician licensing. Applications for licensure may be found at http://www.dpor.virginia.gov/dporweb/bnc_form.cfm.

Interesting to know, always fun to learn something new, tho I’m not sure I completely agree with the point and view. Nonetheless, great share :)

It is indeed my belief that mesothelioma is most fatal cancer. It has unusual features. The more I look at it a lot more I am sure it does not respond like a real solid tissue cancer. In case mesothelioma is really a rogue viral infection, so there is the possibility of developing a vaccine as well as offering vaccination to asbestos uncovered people who are vulnerable to high risk connected with developing long term asbestos connected malignancies. Thanks for expressing your ideas on this important ailment.
