American Institute of Massage has been the single most rewarding continuing education decision that I have made since Nursing school. Joseph Schibner, the owner, and Lead Instructor is not only knowledgable about Massage but spiritual, passionate about healing and just an all around wonderful person. Massage therapy has been the missing peice to my Wellness puzzle. It has given me such a positive and healing modality to add to my nursing bag. My clients/patients love the positive touch and the education of the many benefits of massage that I am able to share with them. The school is very affordable. The State of Virginia requires 500 hours, at American Instutute of Massage you get 600 hours! The option of a day or night schedule worked with my work schedule. The course was 10 months, before I knew it I was graduating! Joseph and his other Instructors preprared us for the Virginia state board exam and walked us through the application process. Our clinicals were at the school, no worries about finding our own clinical clients! I am so thankful I made the decision to attend the school!! Loved every 600 hours of it!! I miss all of my classmates, My instructors, Dr. Ruth, Jennifer and of course Joseph! What a great investment and lifelong learning experience!!
