Leadership Training Retreat

The next Leadership Retreat will be held  July 27-29, 2012

Each year the Virginia Chapter invites active volunteers to come together for a Leadership Retreat. This group usually includes but is not limited to the Chapter Board of Directors, the Delegates and Alternate Delegates, the Chapter Legislative Consultant, Fusion Coffee coordinators, and the Chapter Administrator. The retreat includes time for volunteers to get to know each other and meet face to face, sometimes for the first time. There is also time allotted for hiking the grounds, bird watching, swimming and quiet meditation.

A Chapter Board meeting is held and all guests are invited to attend. The primary focus of the retreat is Leadership Training. Different speakers are selected each year to focus on various topics that will help the volunteers become better Chapter leaders. The Leadership Retreat is offered to Chapter volunteers at no cost.

Accommodations and three meals a day are provided.
